At Smite Blacksmith Academy, private bookings give your group exclusive access to our space and instructors. Whether you're building a stronger team, celebrating a milestone, or just gathering the people you like most for a few hours of fun, you'll walk out with a handcrafted piece and a story worth retelling.

What Private Bookings Look Like

Every private booking is built around your group, but the shape of the day is the same.

Your session begins with our instructors walking you through the tools, the techniques, and the safety procedures that let you work confidently with hot steel.

Then, everyone gets real hands-on time at the anvil - heating, hammering and shaping steel. Our blacksmiths stay with you throughout, guiding your work and keeping things moving, encouraging, and fun.

By the end of the session, every participant leaves with a finished, handcrafted piece they made themselves. Not a souvenir someone handed them. Something they earned.

The Details

Duration: 3 to 8 hours, customizable to your group

Location: Southside Edmonton, AB

Cost: Varies based on project, group size, and session length. Contact us for pricing, which includes all materials, tools, safety gear, and private instruction

Group size: The standard group size is 2–8 guests, however, there is a possibility of accommodating larger groups. Reach out to discuss your needs.

Skill level: Zero experience required! First-timers welcome and encouraged

Age: Minimum age is 18 years old. 14 to 17 years old is permitted if attending with a parent or legal guardian who is also participating.

What to Wear:

Closed-toe shoes
Cotton shirt (short sleeves preferred)
Jeans or cotton pants required
Older work clothes, please. Sparks can and do damage clothing.
Long hair tied back, jewelry removed
